What is the proper diet for an African Grey Parrot? What do you feed your African Grey? I would love to see a sample diet, by week or by day.

    my father has owned his african grey for 30 some years and feeds him a type of parrot food with a mix of fruity pellets and tones of diffrent seeds. but his diet is a little more healthy because he usually gets to eat whatever we are eating at the table (except meats, sweets and dairy) in small amounts. things like fruit, bread, rice and veggies are always good. It sort of helps your bird become part of the family and less icolated. usually packaged foods aren't good. anywayy gooood llucckk!
