Question

Help answer this question below.

In the interview for my job we agreed the earliest time i could start is 9AM. They want me to work earlier than this so i told my manager but she just moaned and denied that i even have hours that i chose to work within..isn't this breaking the contract?

  • You got this in writing, yes?

You are correct. This was a hiring condition. You are within your rights to make them stick to this condition.

I would suggest that you and your manager speak together with HR about what can be done here (if anything).

    • Thanks. Im going to ask to see my contract when the admin managers in. Its totally unfair...its only half an hour earlier but obviously if i put 9 down then 9's the earliest i can work :@
