Help answer this question below.

Miss California says gay marriage answer cost her the Miss USA crown. Maybe so. But was it her position on the issue or her inarticulate, confused reply?

    It was more the way that she said the answer. She completely alienated a large part of America, which is something that would cost her the crown. She IS Miss AMERICA and she is supposed to represent the entire nation.

    • I don't think it had anything to do with her opinion. Here answer was inarticulate and demonstrated a glaring lack of grasp of basic facts. She indicated that California is a separate country within the big country of America. Not what you are looking for in a Miss USA who must speak on a national stage.
