    I know that the Mastiff, is one of the most powerful dogs.

    • mastiffs are extremely powerful dogs. Ive owned several through the years weighing as much as 240 lbs. at times and all muscle. trust me, a pitbull,malamute, great dane, rotweiller, or any other breed would not fare well to tangle with one. The only other breed Ive owned any tougher was the Irish Wolfhound,their strength is uncanny,although they are gentle giants for the most part.
