I have a friend who has a kidney infection and she is on antibiotics any home remdies to stop the pain or cure her quicker

Did she got the kidney infection from a bladder infection?
If the antibiotics is not working and her back stills hurt like hell, she might need to take a trip to the emergency room before her kidneys fail.
