Do you think dropping the atomic bomb on Japan in 1945 was justified?

    To answer the question. No. I would have dropped it on a county side where the population was very small and told them to stop or we are going to drop a bigger one on Tokyo. Kinda of a watch this! And given them a chance to end without all the killing. I could be wrong.

    • Tokyo was never one of the cities considered as a target...several others were, but not Tokyo. Should you be kind enough to read my answer to this question, you will see that the Japanese high command were given substantial advanced warning, as were the Japanese people, themselves. Germany, their strongest ally, surrendered three months earlier...but Japan refused, continuing their killing, including slave labor in its own country. Many, many lives were saved by the bombing, innocent lives that would have perished had we not. +6 for acknowledging your uncertainty.
