In an American high school, is there a Head boy and a Head girl like there is here?

    We have class presidents in high school here in the states. What is head boy and head girl? Are they like King and Queen or something? That's just aesthetic here.

    • I was trying to explain it to Burned, if you care to have a look :)
      It's more about representing the school kind of thing, like the head boy and girl are chosen because they've done well in their exams, and they're well liked, and good speakers and stuff.

    • ah, i don't snoop in ppls comments without being invited to be honest. thanks. it makes some sense. we have scottish exchange students come to my high-school every year. they've told us that the whole president of the class isn't how they do business over there. different cultures i would guess.
