Realistically....No. No one has ever died from an overdose of music. No one has ever died detoxing from lack of music. There is no epidemic of people killing one another just so they can hear their favorite CD. There are no treatment centers, 12 step programs, suppport groups or government funded or privately funded organizations that help people recover from music addiction. That doesn't mean music can't make you feel better than any drug. It most certainly can. But being addictive. No. And we're lucky its not addictive cause if it were, it would be regulated or illegal like any controled substance.
