Help answer this question below.

Why do lots of people have bad grammar? For example, typing the word 'are' when they should be typing 'our' (Northern English accent responsible?) confused between the words 'as' and 'has', etc.?

"lots" is a grammatical error.

Why do young people these days use so many abbreviations, drop words, etc. when typing? Is that what they are learning in English class in school these days? Do young people even know how to write in standard English anymore?
