It is important to eat healthy and have a good diet to help promote nail growth. There are some products out there that can help you too. The one I like specifically is from this company called NailAid. They have a product called Grow Strong, which does help to promote nail growth. And it truly does work, unlike the Sally Hansen stuff, or even Nutranails. I tried both the other two, and no success. But NailAid did it for me.
