Do Mormons ever date people of other religious affiliations?

    Why do we date? to find a potential mate and get married. it's much easier to raise a family with someone who shares the same beliefs. i'm not saying that it's impossible to raise a family with parents of two different religions, its just easier on the marriage and the kids if they're being taught the same thing. mormons don't have to date other mormons, i don't. it's just recommeneded that we look for someone we can spend the rest of forever with, it's more likely to last if we can agree. and also marry in the temple.
