Help answer this question below.

Has anyone ever had a "whatnot" sandwich? I had one years ago at a birthday party and trying to find the recipe. I remember it had cheese and mayo and other stuff and was on a bun wrapped in foil and baked in oven. It might be called something else.

    My guess is that it goes by another name. Can you contact the person who had the party and ask them either for the recipe or the name of the sandwich? At least with a correct name, you might get lucky with someone offering a recipe.

    • Thanks for the suggestion but this was about 16 years ago and lost contact with the person and no idea where they are now! I just know that they called them "whatnots" I think it might have had cubed ham and I am thinking relish too and everything melted together and were so good...I guess I could invent my own recipe and try it! LOL!
