My long-standing grudge against my Dad for throwing away my entire collection of He-Man figures, vehicles, and castles/fortresses without asking me. I had had them since I was a little kid, and was hoping to save them long enough to either give to my own kids or sell as collector's items someday. My Dad threw them all out when I was 19 and away at school, and I was mightily pissed when I found out about it.
For my 29th birthday, he ordered about 30 of the 2nd generation figures, put them in a huge box, and gave it to me. It sounds dorky, but it was actually very touching.
What was that cartoon where a dog has orgasms when thrown a dog biscuit?

I had the same thing happen to me with my Barbies, except my parents found MY old Barbies (they had given them away). I received them for Christmas about 5 years ago. Unfortunately the people that had them were smokers, so I now have a collection of nicotine Barbies with stinky clothes. It was a sweet gesture on their part though.
