You're reading Evolution and Christianity? I believe in evolution, and that the world is millions of years old. Do you think that I'm still a Christian?

Evolution is still and will remain..a THEORY. Many evolutionists disagree about the dynamics and the extent of evolution's influence in the development of species. Some Christians, mostly evangelistic and fundamentalists get very agitated about the word "evolution" but the theory can involve many gradations. Just a thought..if we evolved directly from simians...why are there still monkeys and apes? Could not God have directed the evolution of his creations?...the earth is evolving..all in God's time..who Himself is outside of time. Belief or disbelief in a creator because one believes or disbelieves in "evolution"..makes not sense to me. God sent His Son to save mankind not as a substitute science instructor.
