Everyone in the family hates my sibling's significant other (including me) and they both know it. Is there something that can be done to help this?

    Yes, question why you all hate them? Remember that you choose your friends (partners included) not your family. Is the significant other too different from the rest of the family, maybe this is what attracted your sibling to them in the first place. I hope that helps.
