Question

Help answer this question below.

My tooth hurts like hell and leaves a bad taste in my mouth... Is this a cavity? How do I controll it and stop the pain, it hurts so much I can't sleep, I actually woke myself up by the pain, please, please help.

You need to see a dentist - you may have an abcess that needs treating with antibiotics. Not scare-mongering but you need to get it checked as the "poison" that comes out of an abcess goes down into your stomach and can cause some very nasty illnesses - case in point the Olympic rower who had knee problems originating from an abcess in a tooth.

- Seriously the longer you leave it the worse it will get - you probably do swallow the gunge when you are asleep! Go to the dentist.....Today!
