Aspartame does not cause cancer - see http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/ANSWERS/ANS00772.html and a lot more of the email/internet crap about it at http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/aspartame.asp . And here's one from Snopes about the Johns Hopkins "Cancer Update" - http://www.snopes.com/medical/disease/cancerupdate.asp , NOR was it originally developed as an ant poison - http://www.snopes.com/humor/iftrue/antpoison.asp .
Saccharin has also never been found to produce cancer in humans - http://www.elmhurst.edu/~chm/vchembook/549saccharin.html , at least in the amounts you would get in processed foods (extremely high doses not-withstanding.)

You're reading Is there any sugarless chewing gum that has no cancer causing sweetener such as saccharin, aspartame, etc.? I heard xylitol is a sweetener that has absolutely no cancer causing agents, is there any brand of gum contains all xylitol as sweetener?

Too many people believe the crap they receive in emails, and on non-medical websites. My uncle is a chemist. He would have told the family if either of the above are problems. Yes... He pays attention to FOOD, since he eats, too! ;-)
