If you say God exists because you believe it, and I say he doesn't because I don't, does 'Occam's razor' swing the balance in my favor?

I would argue that Occam’s Razor doesn’t apply at all, since it’s so difficult to decide which argument it supports. I personally believe that the simplest explanation for our existence is a loving Father, using His superb understanding of natural forces to create the universe and everything therein. Others feel that natural forces just happen without any divine intervention.

In short, which is simpler: an intelligent Director creating a universe for His children to learn and grow in, or a nigh infinite number of random occurrences eventually resulting in life? That depends on who you ask.
