When and how will we gain the ability to "download" information into our brains?

    Why can't this information just get in my brain?!!
    I know the feeling.
    The brain doesn't seem as powerful as a computer but its actually dealing with vast amounts of external and internal information subconsciously.
    Our brains forget due to intelligence. We generalize and associate so we can get a better picture on how to survive. If we remembered absolutely everything we wouldn't be able to understand or apply. Only when our brains are ready and see the logic and importance of information will they 'download' it.
    The things seen on the matrix are possible because the nerve stem to the brain ultimately sends and recieves all the info, and they probably know how to tap into the subconscious.
    The only way to improve our natural abilities though is to improve the vividity, relevance and logic of the information.
    That or wait for evolution or wait for A.I. to understand the brain.
