I had a cop stop me once for going through a yellow light. When he asked if I knew why he pulled me over, I told him I didn't know why he had stopped me and he told me I'd gone through a yellow light. I responded that a yellow light means 'caution' and I could clearly see there were no cars coming. He repeated that you're supposed to stop for a yellow light, and I asked when did the law change...? He didn't say a word, and just turned and went back to his car. When he returned he gave me a ticket and told me it was my word against his and to have a nice day, when I looked at the ticket it was for running a red light. I was so pissed.

    • the same thing happened to me but when the cop pulled me over i told him that the light was yellow and not red. He said yes it was but you were pushing it and gave me a ticket. He himself admitted it was yellow. I want to fight his ticket but im trying to educate myself on the law of running a yellow light before my court date. so what happened when you went to court did you fight it?
