How can I tell if my computer has a sound card?

    Hmm, if you look on the back of your computer you can usually tell by 3 distint holes. One is usually Line in, Line Out, and Microphone. Yours may or may not have 3, it may have more. Sometimes, sound cards are bundled with a modem, so you may see phone jack looking things next to it. You also may see a 9 pin serial gaming port as well. Sometimes, they're multi colored as well.

    • Also the easiest way to see if one is installed is via Sound And Game Controllers in Control Panel... :)

    • A game port / joystick port is 15 pins. A serial port is 9 or 25
