Is it possible to have Neurofibromatosis and not know it? I was researching multiple birthmarks and found that i have almost all the symptoms

• I wanna talk to my doctor but i feel healthy so i dunno what i would say how to start a conversation for something like that.. cause i dont wanna sound stupid, chances are i dont have it and i am just scared cause i read about it but thanks

• Doctors have patients in your situation all the time. There is no such thing a stupid question. God for bid what if there was someting wrong and you didn't get it checked until it was too late to fix it. Wouldn't you feel a lot more stupid then. It is a good idea to get a physical every year or two even if you feel healthy. That way your doctor can catch problems before you get sick. Just make an appt. with your doc for a physical and during the appt. tell him you read an article and you are a little concerned. I am sure you take your daughter to the doctor. You deserve to go to.

• Yes this is true everything except for the daughter thing but if i had a daughter it would be true... I need to get a new doctor anyways cause i moved, but like I havent had a family doctor for more then a couple years so i guess none of them would look for anything
