It's hard to pick a book to recommend if you don't have a specific requirement.

I guess I would say Chuck Klosterman's "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs''

I enjoy non-fiction books, but I don't consider this to be one of the most ingenious sociological book ever written. It's more of a ramble from one person's point of view. However, it is an easy read with a humorous point of view without getting annoyingly philosophical.

Also, my sister has a horrible taste in fiction books and she even enjoyed it. I think that’s because it’s an easy transition from fiction to non-fiction without the intimidation of confusion.

    • I agree, this was a good book with some great insights, but it suffered some serious rambling and too many vague ideas (the Monroe-Anderson analogies come to mind).
