Why does Jesus refer to himself as the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End in Rev 22:13? Can't those terms only be used of God?

  • This is my own guess. I know nothing of the New or Old testament. This is based on my spiritual beliefs.

I think that we are all one with God. That does not mean we are God but God is inside/outside all of us. Therefore because we are one with God (Godlike) we are part of the Alpha and the Omega.

A minester friend of mine explained it this way. If you think of one drop of water from the ocean that drop is part of the ocean. It is one with the ocean. However it is not as vast or as powerful as the entire ocean.
