You're reading How can scientists say there is no such thing as the after life when it is clearly stated within science that matter cannot either be created nor destroyed? I don't get it.

Sorry I didn't mean to say that all scientists say this but I am talking about people who believe in science that say that there is no god and there is no after life. I am, by the way an atheist. The thing is that when they say this they really aren't thinking about what they are saying hence explaining why I am here on this day. I find it rather irritating that people claim they know the truth through their opinion. If that were to be true then a guy who believes the color purple is blue would be right because according to some people opinion is fact.

Atheism isn't a belief system. Think about the structure of the word. "A" means "not" and Theist is someone who believes in a deity. Being someone who doesn't believe in a god doesn't really have anything to do with science and is just a lack of belief, not a belief system. I think you may be talking about materialists. I also think that while you can't show evidence that there is no god, a lot of the claims made by religious texts disagree with physical evidence, which in science would mean that those hypotheses are actually falsified. Also, there really isn't any evidence of a god. Clearly there is no evidence suggesting that one doesn't exist but believing based on that would be similar to believing that unicorns once existed but are now extinct. There is no evidence to refute that claim but there is no reason to believe it either.
