You're reading Are you a Celtic paganist? If so, can you tell me about your beliefs, and specifically, point me to some online resources?

Starhawk is a Wiccan, not a Celtic polytheist. Contrary to popular belief, Wicca is not derived from Celtic polytheism and the New Age Wiccan tendancy to use Celtic deities is simply a veneer. It's like adding Shiva and Kali to God and Jesus and calling it Christianity. If someone wants to know about Celtic polytheism, google Celtic Reconstructionism and visit a Celtic RECONSTRUCTIONIST website. Most of the things on the web about Celtic beliefs are pure you-know-what. Avoid all books published by Llewellyn Publishing. Most also fall into the you-know-what category. Above all, disregard all Wiccan sources for information about Celtic polytheism. What Wiccans practice is fine, but it is not remotely Celtic polytheism.

Maybe, but Starhawk is still pretty good for the basics, as is Rae Beth, who I found to be really helpful.
