Why is it that seafood is still caught in the wild, rather than being raised on farms like other livestock?

    Tastes better that way.

    Actually, nearly half of the fish eaten everyday are farmed.

    • And the farmed salmon are actually causing issues with disease spreading to wild stock. I agree on the taste and have you actually looked at them side by side? Yech. Gimme wild caught anyday. They're actually using additives in farmed fish to try to bring proper colour to them.

    • wow... nearly half, huh? I had no idea..The reason I was wondering, is because I see those shows on discovery, etc about how dangerous it got me to thinking
