Are there disadvantages to dialing "10-10-321" type numbers?

    The major disadvantage of these "10-10" type of long distance service is the hidden charges associated with using these services. Some companies that charge 10 cents a minute will charge you 60 cents a minute after the first 20 minutes while others will charge a fee of $20 for a 30 day period on top of the 7 cent-per minute rate.

    And because they know who to bill the charges to, they will sell your information to telemarketers who want figure that if you were gullible enough to fall for the 10-10 offer, you certainly would like to hear about their exiting offers too.
