You're reading "who ever said that the pen is mightier than the sword never encoutered automatic weapons." do you think this quote is can be true?

Did you read 'automatic' as 'atomic'?

NO - I escalated it. What would automatic weapons do against an executive order from President G W Bush? The pen defeats, or controls, the mightiest weapons of our age. Lesser weapons have no chance.
You are holed up with all the automatic weapons you desire. The Governor, with his pen, calls out the State National Guard. Who wins?

what does nuclear weapons have to do with the quote?
by Wannabe Superhero on April 18th, 2008
My opinion would be that nuclear weapons are mightier than automatic weapons. And the pen is mightier than nuclear weapons, since it controls them. Therefore, if there is some sort of linear gradient, the pen is mightier than both the automatic weapons and the sword.
Sheesh! Don't they teach them logic these days?
