What was the name of the first American tank involved in action in WWI?

    From my knowledge I dont think America had any tanks in WWI the first tank was invented by the British the Mk IV tank and the French Renault tank I dont think we had developed any of our own tanks but the French provided Renault tanks to the U.S. and most likely the British also contributed hope this helps.
