Help answer this question below.

Matthew 5:17-18 says quite clearly that Jesus demands Christians follow Old Testament law completely, to the smallest possible point. Why don’t they?

    I honestly don't know why all do not follow it to a "TEE". I think it is because we are all human and bound to make human mistakes. I as a Christian have realized that it makes life easier if we do not act like we come without flaws...I admit mines and constantly to try to better myself...Christian's are humans too...Learning like the rest is all...

    • I don't buy the "we are just humans too" bit; I was a Christian once and then a Messianic Jew (the type that didn't see "Jesus" as god) and I was chose to live above many a "Christian". I believe that many just choose to take the "goods" of the Bible and ignore the not so pleasant; I've seen it done far too often. It's really no different than the earlier church that aligned with Paganism to gain numbers, they loved the "good news" but filtered out the rest. If the REAL Messiah would've come there he would not have been as nearly as popular as the Christian "Jesus".
