Howcome whenever i press the question mark "E" with an accent comes on? and how do i stop it when it happens again?

Is your keyboard set to US/EN?

Installing US-International Keyboard
Open "Regional and Language Settings" in Control Panel...
Select Languages Tab > "Details..." button.
Make sure your default input language is English.
Click "Add", then select "US-International" keyboard and "OK" your way back out.

Thank you so much. I was so frustrated and I didn't know what I did wrong. I just got this computer and I was really having problems. The only way I could send a letter was by making spelling errors and the spell check would punctuate for me. Now all is well. Thank you again JayHawk. You have saved me a lot of time.
