Ok Evangelist,
Why would GOD turn his back on Jesus?? Were did you come up with the idea that God turned his back on Jesus?
..and...who created Satan?
by Anonymous on January 12th, 2008
God turned his back on Jesus for a time because Jesus took upon himself the sins of every person who had ever and would ever live. He became sin and therefore detestable to God so that we could be sinless. God created Satan, originally Satan was an angel meant to serve God. Satan rebelled. Sad but true.

Why would God turn his back on Jesus if Jesus was trying to do something good for all mankind? That doesn't make any sense.

Evangelist, Help me here please. Satan is evil, God created Satan so I guess what you are saying is that God created something evil??????
by Elsabioanciano on January 13th, 2008
Wow, that errant logic is something that the kids all try to pull off over at YA! Same as when they say that God created a "Flawed/Imperfect" Adam & Eve!!! NOT!!! "FREE WILL" is that which allows U not only to Question Gods Attributes in Arrogance but also Willfully Commit Sin and Choose Not to Accept Christs Salvation Gift. John

Thank you Moosemose, I agree totally. God turned his back on Jesus because he was the substitutionary sacrifice, he took all of our filth and rebellion upon himself and suffered the death we deserve. We in turn get the perfection and heaven that only Jesus deserved. Substitutionary Atonement. As for Satan, God created him perfect as well, it was Satan who rebelled and sinned because he had free will. After Satan's fall, he made it so the spiritual beings and messengers called angels no longer had free will and therefore could no longer fall. But God in his mercy allowed humans to have free will and even after the fall to put in place a salvation plan.
