No, it definately is not normal. I ran fever that high and i had an infection in my blood that got to my heart valve. You should get him into a specialist and try to get some other opinions. This can be serious and you should take just as that. I faught for my life for 5 months......I will Pray for you and your family...

Honestly, I do not know. I was constantly getting stuck and blood work. Pick lines and exrays. They will do a test that takes filling up two bottles with 3cc of blood and then they sent mines to a specialist. My roommate had CEDIF ofso spelled. They can tell you because i had two different kinds at two different times. One caused by the pic line. I will check for you.

I took him to the dr. today and they said he has Strep throat.

well that is an answer. Well let's be glad it was nothing bigger than that...Mines was an infection. I hope he feels better soon...

Wow, Thank for all of your response. The doctor has not done any blood work or urine test. Some of this stuff sounds serious.
