Why do teenagers like to drink to excess? I've never understood why my peers do this.

    Whenever you're not allowed to do something, you want to do it and usually end up abusing it. Once people turn 21, they don't care so much anymore because they've experienced it and realized it's not that awesome.

    I think also time has evolved youth's to believe that it's the only type of entertainment. Late teens would consider non-alcoholic means of fun to be lame. It's disappointing, but they can't think of anything else to do. And even when they were to participate in something non-alcoholic they usually think, "man this would be sooo much better drunk"
