    According to http://www.islam101.com, Muhammed (pbuh) received divine revelations (recorded as the Koran) over 23 years in the seventh century Christian Era.

    • Yes, the revelations began in the year 610 and Muhammad (pbuh) was instructed to start sharing them a few years later.
