If I find happiness and enlightenment through marijuana, why is its reputation so bad?

• No, don't go on spouting myths. There is no scientific evidence to support the gateway theory. Alcohol and tobacco were my gateway to cannabis if you want to talk about gateway drugs.

• u are a fucking idiot!!! u can only speak of what you know and obviously u can think on ur own u buy into mass media and the preferred government perception.
  
  just so u know i have smoked every day for at least 3 years maintain a 3.5 at Bellarmine University, have a management job (to which i am not naming the company bc of perverted societal assumptions to marijuana) so it obviously hasn't effected me academically or professionally so u dont have any grounds for your second assumption!
  
  as for your second... i have never tried any other drug besides prescriptions, which are legal (yet the number one abused drug in the us). there is no such thing as a gateway drug(no causal correlation has been made)! and if there were it would be alcohol!
  
  get some facts behind ur assumptions and then u will have a plausible argument!
