The stste of Louisiana is considering the death penalty for a second-time pedophile offender. That should put a stop of the recidivism rate, at the least.
There is no penalty sufficient to punish those who inflict such serious harm to a child. Even death cannot minimize the damage one wreaks on their victim, but it would certainly eliminate any future victims. I wish my state would consider it - and an express lane through the appeals process.
