My 5 year old rabbit has never had any contact with other rabbits, but I'm thinking of getting another. Would they get along?

It would depend on their sexes, whether they had been desexed, and obviously the individual natures of the rabbits involved. However, as long as it's not two males (not recommended, from personal experience) and they are both desexed (highly recommended, again from personal experience; if only one's desexed, it might not have worked properly and you might end up with many more little bunnies than you planned for, plus it helps to stem the mating instinct) then they should get on. However, you will need to introduce them to each other first; the best way I have found to do this is to get two cages and get them to live side by side for a while, and introducing them gradually outside the cages with you supervising. After a few introductory hops, within a couple of weeks they should be ok together, but keep an eye out for any aggressive behavior or unexplained wounds once they're together unsupervised. Good luck!

    • They are all ready introduced and have lived together all their lives. My question is while she is giving birth, is it safe?
