Why is the number 666 associated with the devil?

    Because, at the end of the world,the Anti-Christ will run the world. And people who don't get caught in the rapture will have to wait 7 years for the second coming. During those 7 years, the will suffer. The devil, however,will give his certain people a number called "666" and those people will have money and all that good stuff. After that, that means you have devoted yourself to Satan. That means you're apart of his kingdom and you work for him. That is pretty much why "666" is his number. And just for an extra tip here, I also had watched a movie recently, called "666" It's a horror movie. And yes the boy with ''666" was evil. The apartment number was ''666" and he had those 3 numbers on his tongue. So, yeah just an extra tip, but that's pretty much why.
