Can I repair scratched games myself?

    It depends on what you mean by 'myself'. If, on an official disc, the damage is on the side with the logo, text etc. on, then no, you can't, as the data is stored on this side of the disc. If it is a burned disc, then if the scratch is on the bottom of the disc, it is probably not repairable either, but I'm not certain about that. If it is an official disc with a scratch on the bottom, however, then in 95% of cases it can be repaired. As long as the scratch is not too deep, it can be removed either with a home repair kit which can be bought from most large music stores, or by using a disc doctor. I'm not sure where you could find one of these, but in Australia many video stores have them and charge you a few dollars to fix your disc; it costs money but it's so much cheaper than getting a new disc. Good luck repairing it, anyway!
