If u had to choose, which society dud u rather e in and why?
one that's more educated, but has more drinking and divorce, and are more westernized in lifestyle and women dress more skimpy b/c of it, or a society where they're not as well as educated, but they have less divorce, drink less, their women dress more conservatively and they're not as westernized in lifestyle(though they're not backward or primitive either)?? WHich & why?

So the choice is either a society that has more education, more drinking, divorce, and women who can freely express their bodies, or a society that is less educated and has less of the other three things? It's a no brainer, the first one. The first one has all good points, the second one has all bad points.

Why has the second one more bad points?

Bad point: Not as well educated.
Bad point: Women dressing more conservatively, less inclined to express themselves through fashion.
Having less divorces and people drinking less are neither good or bad points, but if divorce is frowned upon or banned, or if alcohol is horribly restricted or hard to obtain then they would certainly be bad points as well.

but so many girls dress slutty nowadays. can't a girl be fashionable w/o the trampy style of females today? Also, so much divorce today, is it good? parents break up, step fathers abuse step kids, fathers can't see their kids, etc. Less divorce isn't necessarily bad.

"but so many girls dress slutty nowadays. can't a girl be fashionable w/o the trampy style of females today?"
They could be, but its their freedom to do what they like, just as it's your freedom to do as you like along long as you aren't infringing on other people's rights. I think it's a beautiful thing to see someone (of any gender) express themselves through fashion.

Indeed, but divorce is necessary, it would be worse if people were forced to be in marriages they no longer wanted to be in. And children of homes who have two married parents in them get abused too, it isn't exclusive to step-parents or anyone. I know less divorce isn't necessarily bad, but it isn't necessarily good either.

Well, when ppl dress slutty, they often lose self respect and thus, follow slutty thinking too. ppl don't respect such women. As for divorce, well, it IS b ad for the kids usually, and instead of working thru problems, ppl rush to it. No fault divorce has broken down families, has it not?

I think if you're going to lose respect for someone just based on how they dress, I would lose respect for you. And as for slutty behaviour, as long as it's not affecting me, why would I care?

Can you force someone to be in a marriage or a family they don't want to be in for the sake of structure? Should you? I would have a moral problem with that, I'm glad adults can't be forced to be in families they don't want to be in.
