If there was no influences in history from the Catholic Church, how different would Europe be today

    There wouldn't be Swiss Guard for the Vatican, there wouldn't be a Vatican, there wouldn't be a bank for the Vatican, there wouldn't have been the Spanish Inquisition and therefore magic and witchcraft may have flourished, there would not have been the Church of England and therefore many offshoots of the Christian religion would not have developed, there would have been no Crusade resulting in Muslim conquerors possibly ruling much of Southern Europe, there would have been no witch burnings, many torture devices to extract confessions would have never been invented, many children would not have been molested in Catholic environments, the Philippines would still have native indigenous religions as so forth.
