Why do some people think that the U.S. two dollar bill is unlucky?

    Back when... there was a saying "Queer as a 2 dollar bill"
    Then they actually started minting 2 dollar bills!!! So I guess they are still considered queer.

    • No, the saying was "Queer as a three dollar bill." Queer used to be, and perhaps still is, slang for counterfeit money.

    • Yep, Roger's right. It's the three dollar bill that's queer, mainly because they don't exist, I guess. I'll take those, too, BTW.
