Is Wal-Mart a positive or a negative for lower income families?

    For the most part, positive. Walmart provides employment for 1.2 million employees, many of whom are lower income. Such not only serves to lower the cost of welfare in this Country, but it also adds training, self-worth and self-esteem to those who might otherwise be unemployable and idle.

    Walmart's pricing is about the lowest to be found, and particular so on food products. This not only aid the lower income families, but economically struggling middle income families, as well.
