When can a US citizen that has been deported return to the United States?

    Yes- but maybe his US citizenship is taken away by the US, then deported. That happened to some that committed war crimes during World War II, then they retrned to the US and then were stripped of their UScitizenships to face war crime charges. Most of them were not told of their US citizenship being taken away. They later wrote books, saying they were US citizens that were deported from the US. Maybe others did not know that their US citizenships had been taken away.
