Did anyone have a bad experience with the Essure procedure? During the procedure the Dr. said I had a spasm in my tubes. It has been very painful since with back and abdominal pain, headaches. The Dr. never mentioned this many problems.

I had this procdure performed in October of 2009, after the birth of my 3rd child. I had it done without any anesthetic or pain relievers. I have a high tolerance for pain, as I delivered all three of my 9lb+ babies naturally without pain killers. However, in the past 2.5 years since the procedure, I have had SEVERE cramping and nausea intermittently, and my periods are horrible. It's awful. I find that I can barely catch my breath when it occurs. I haven't had any sort of follow up after the required diagnostics to see that the tubes were fully blocked, so I don't know what to do. Will finally have health insurance again next month. Hoping that I am not allergic to the metal used.
