Would you want to be friends with a "robot"? Why or why not?

    You've just reminded me of that film with the robot that befriends a young girl, and she grows up, and in the end its really sad because she dies or something and he becomes friends with her daughter or something? I dont know. I cant remember what it was called though. AGH!

    but to answer the question, yeah, that would be pretty awesome, as long as it didnt end up turning on me, like most robot movies depict.
