Have you heard of American workers intentionally sabotaging the quality of the things they produce?

It's hard to believe but I heard a guy who worked at Chrysler brag that they would pull stunts like hanging a nail from a piece of fishing line inside a door to make an annoying rattle in a car. Why would people brag about destroying their own companies?

    I worked in a union shop (automaker) 5 years ago, and "be as useful as a bent rusty screw" was a repeated phrase during the union meetings. Many times it came from the more influential members.
