Does it improve my odds to put more coins in a slot machine?

    Usually, yes. Always check the payout table on the slot, but most of them have the best odds for max bet amounts, and often the payout is dramatically better for max bets. If you're going to play anyway, you might as well give yourself the best odds.

    • Sigma6 is correct, but check the paytable on the game you're playing. Poker is a great example; for a Royal Flush jackpot most poker games will pay 250 per credit wagered (250-500-750-1000), but if you wager five then the game will pay 800 times your wager (4000)
